We’re based in Sale, so Trafford is our home patch. We carry out landlord EICRs, HMO inspections and remedial work for private landlords and letting agents across the borough, from terraces in Stretford and Old Trafford to apartments in Altrincham and family homes in Timperley and Urmston.
Landlords must have the fixed electrical installation in a rented home inspected and tested at least every five years, or sooner if the last report says so. Reports are issued independently, based only on the condition of the installation on the day. Any remedial work is quoted separately once the report is issued, and only if you ask.

Sale, Urmston and Timperley are largely interwar and post-war semis let to families and commuters, while Altrincham, Hale and Bowdon have more apartments and larger period houses.
Larger shared houses anywhere in the borough need a mandatory HMO licence from Trafford Council, and you should expect to provide a current EICR with the application.
